Ingredients
Chayote – 2 Medium Size
Onion – 1 Medium Size
Green Chilli – 3
Curry Leaves – 10
Mustard Seeds – ½ Tbsp
Chana Dal – 1 Tbsp
Oil – 3 Tbsp
Coriander Leaves – ½ Cup
Salt to Taste
Method
- Heat oil in a pan. Add Mustard Seeds let it Crackle then add Chana dal fry until it turns light brown.
- Add Curry Leaves and Green Chilli fry about 1 minute.
- Add Chopped Onion Cook until it turns golden brown.
- Add Chopped Chayote. Close the pan lid for about 1 Minute. Then open the lid and cook until Chayote become soft.
- Add Coriander Leaves and Salt mix well.
Chayote Palya is Ready to Serve with Chapati.
