Cabbage Palya



Preparation time: 10 Minutes | Cook time: 10 Minutes


Cabbage – 2 Cup

Onion – 1

Green Chilli – 3

Curry Leaves – 5 to 6

Coriander Leaves – ¼ Cup

Oil – 2 Tbsp

Mustard Seeds – ½ Tbsp

Chana Dal – 1 Tbsp

Salt to taste


  • Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds wait until it crackle then add chana dal fry until its golden color.
  • Add Curry Leaves, Green Chilli and Chopped onion fry until it turns transparent and golden color.
  • Add Chopped Cabbage cook Until its Soft about 5 Minutes. Add salt to taste.
  • Garnish with Coriander Leaves.

Cabbage palya is Ready to Serve with chapati or as a side dish with Rice.
