Onion – 1

Brinjal – 2

Bell pepper – 1

Vangibath Powder – 1 Tbsp

Red Chilli Powder – ½ Tbsp

Curry Leaves – 6

Coriander Leaves – ¼ Cup

Oil – 4 Tbsp

Mustard Seeds – ½ Tbsp

Chana Dal – 1 Tbsp

Rice – 1 Cup

Salt to taste


  • Heat oil in a pan. Add Mustard seeds wait until it crackle then add chana dal fry until its golden color.
  • Add Curry Leaves, Chopped onion fry until it turns transparent and golden color.
  • Add Chopped brinjal and bell pepper cook about 3 minutes.
  • Add Vangibath powder, Red Chilli powder Cook about 1 minute.
  • Add Coriander Leaves and salt to taste.
  • Add rice to it and mix well.

Tasty Vangibath is Ready to Serve.
