Carrot Halwa ( Gajar Ka Halwa )


Preparation time: 10 Minutes | Cook time: 20 Minutes


Grated Carrot – 2 Cups

Milk – 1 Cup

Sugar – 1 Cup

Cashew – 5

Raisin – 8

Ghee – 5 tbsp.

Cardamom Powder – ¼ tbsp.


  • Heat 2 tbsp. of Ghee in a pan. Add Chopped cashew fry until its light brown then add Raisin fry until it puffs up. Take out onto a plate and Keep it aside.
  • Heat Remaining Ghee in the same pan. Add Grated Carrot fry about 1 minute. Add milk cook about 1 Minute.
  • Add Sugar and Cook until milk evaporates Completely on low flame. Add dry fruits, Cardamom Powder and mix well.

Hot Carrot Halwa is Ready to Serve.

Note: Prepared Carrot halwa can be stored in Refrigerator for about 2 days.
