Preparation time: 5 Minutes | Cook time: 15 Minutes


For Dough

Wheat Flour – 1 Cup

Water – ½ Cup

Oil – 1 tbsp

Salt – ¼ tbsp.

For Frying

Oil – 3 Cups


  • To a Bowl add Wheat flour, Oil, Salt. Mix well. Add enough water to make a stiff dough. Let it Rest for 15 Minutes.
  • Heat Oil in a pan for Frying.
  • Takeout Little portion of dough. Make Medium sized balls and roll it to a big Circle of medium thickness. Using a knife cut it to make 4 equal parts.
  • Check if oil is hot enough by adding little dough. It should come to the surface of oil immediately.
  • Now add one puri at a time fry until its Puffed and golden brown from both the sides. Takeout on to a Kitchen paper towel.

Hot Puri is Ready to Serve with Sabzi.
