Ingredients
For Stuffing
Radish – 1
Onion – 1/2 Finely Chopped
Coriander Leaves – ¼ Cup
Oil – 2 tbsp
Jeera – ½ tbsp.
Ajwain Seeds/Carom Seeds – ½ tbsp
Coriander Powder – ¼ tbsp.
Red Chilli Powder – ¼ tbsp.
Chat Masala Powder – ¼ tbsp.
Jeera powder – ¼ tbsp
Salt to taste
For Dough
Wheat Flour – 1 Cup
Oil – 1tbsp
Salt – ¼ tbsp.
Radish Water – ½ Cup (Normal Water Can be used instead)
Method
- Grate Radish and squeeze water from it to a bowl. Will use this radish water while making dough.
- To a bowl add wheat flour, Salt, Oil and mix well. By adding enough Radish water Knead a Soft Dough. Let it Rest for 20 Minutes.
- Heat oil in a pan. Add Jeera, Ajwain Seeds wait until it Crackle.
- Add Onion wait until it turn light brown.
- Radish Stuffing: Add Grated Radish, Coriander Powder, Red Chilli Powder, Chat Masala Powder, Jeera Powder, Salt and mix well. Cook for about 1 Minute.
- Add Coriander Leaves and mix well.
- Takeout Little portion of dough make 2 Small sized balls and roll them to small circles. Place 2 tbsp. of Radish Stuffing on one of the rolled dough and cover it with another one by pressing its edges. Now roll this Stuffed dough as thin as possible.
- Heat skillet on medium flame. Put rolled Paratha on it. Spread some oil or ghee both the sides and cook until u get brown spots.
Hot Mooli Paratha is Ready to Serve with Curd, pickle and butter.
