Ingredients
For Stuffing
Potato – 2
Onion – 1/2 Finely chopped
Coriander leaves – ¼ cup
Oil – 2 tbsp
Jeera – ½ tbsp.
Red chilli powder – ½ tbsp.
Chat masala powder – ½ tbsp.
Salt to taste
For Dough
Wheat flour – 1 cup
Oil – 1tbsp
Salt – ¼ tbsp.
Water – ½ cup
Method
- To a bowl add wheat flour, salt, oil and mix well. By adding enough water knead a soft dough. Let it rest for 20 minutes.
- Boil potato in a Pressure cooker or Microwave until it is soft. Drain and peel potatoes. Mash it completely. Keep it aside.
- Heat oil in a pan. Add Jeera wait until it crackle.
- Add Onion wait until it turns light brown.
- Potato Stuffing: Add mashed potato, red chilli powder, Chat masala powder, salt and mix well. Cook about 1 minute.
- Add Coriander leaves and mix well.
- Takeout little portion of dough. Make 2 small sized balls and roll them to small circles. Place 2 tbsp. of Potato Stuffing on one of the rolled dough and cover it with another one by pressing its edges. Now roll this stuffed dough as thin as possible.
- Heat skillet on medium flame. Put rolled Paratha on it. Spread some oil or ghee both the sides and cook until u get brown spots.
Hot Aloo Paratha is Ready to Serve with Curd, Pickle and butter.
