Tomato Soup


Preparation time: 15 Minutes | Cook time: 15 Minutes


Tomato – 2

Carrot – 1

Onion – ½

Garlic – 3

Black pepper – 4

Bay leaf – 1

Butter – 2 tbsp

Water – ½ cup

Corn flour – 1 tbsp

Sugar – 1/2 tbsp

Salt to taste.


  • Heat butter in a pan. Add bay leaf saute about 2 seconds. Add chopped onion, garlic and carrot fry about 1 minute.
  • Add chopped tomatoes, black pepper, salt, sugar and cook about 3 minutes. Keep it aside. Let it cool down completely.
  • To a blender add all cooked ingredients and blend it to a nice paste. Takeout to a bowl and add water to it according to your taste. Keep it aside.
  • To a small cup add corn flour and 1 tbsp of water. Mix well. This acts as a thickening agent.
  • Heat a pan on medium flame. Add tomato Soup, Corn flour water and keep on stirring for about 3 minutes. Take out to a serving bowl.

Hot Tomato soup is ready to serve.
