Ingredients
Maida (All purpose flour) – 1 cup
Sooji (Rave) – 1 tbsp
Salt – ½ tbsp.
Sugar – ¼ tbsp.
Curd – 2 tbsp
Baking soda – ¼ tbsp.
Baking powder – ½ tbsp.
Oil – 2 tbsp
Water – 1 cup
For frying
Oil – 3 cups
Method
- Add Maida, sooji, salt, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, oil and curd to a bowl. Mix well. By adding enough water make a soft dough. Let it rest for about 2 hours.
- Heat oil in a pan for frying.
- Takeout Little portion of dough. Make small sized balls and roll it to circle of medium thickness.
- Check if oil is hot enough by adding little dough. It should come to the surface of oil immediately.
- Now add one bhature at a time fry until its Puffed and golden brown from both the sides. Takeout on to a Kitchen paper towel.
