Kesari Bath



Preparation time: 20 minutes | Cook time: 20 Minutes


Fine Sooji (Rava) – 1 small glass

Sugar – 1 small glass

Water – 3 small glass

Turmeric powder – ¼ tbsp

Clove – 2

Oil – 2 tbsp

Ghee – 6 tbsp

Cashew – 5

Raisin – 8


  • Heat a pan on medium flame. Dry fry sooji till you get nice aroma for about 4 to 5 minutes. Add 1 tbsp of ghee in the last. Mix well with sooji. Takeout on to a plate. Keep it aside.
  • Heat 2 tbsp. of ghee in a pan. Add chopped cashews fry until its light brown then add Raisin fry until its puff up. Take out onto a plate.
  • Keep water for boiling by adding turmeric powder and cloves. Let it boil for about 1 minute.
  • Now add fried sooji to it keep on stirring. Make sure no lumps are formed. Cook about 1 minute.
  • Add sugar keep on stirring let it dissolve completely.
  • Add 2 tbsp of oil, 3 tbsp of ghee, dry fruits and mix well. Cook about 1 minute. Takeout to a serving bowl.

Kesari bath is ready to serve.
