Homemade paneer Recipe



Preparation time: 1 Hour | Cook time: 20 Minutes


Whole milk – 2 Liters

Lemon juice – 2 tbsp


  • Boil milk. Add lemon juice and stir well. Milk begins to curdle.
  • Strain it in the cheesecloth immediately. Rinse it under running water. Drain the whey.
  • Lift cheesecloth towards top from all sides, hold its mouth tight and squeeze excess water. Flatten it and place Heavy weight over it for about 30 minutes.
  • Remove paneer and cut into cubes.
