Ingredients
Potato – 2
Onion – 1
Green chilli – 3
Curry leaves – 5
Turmeric powder – ¼ tbsp
Coriander powder – 1tbsp
Oil – 3 tbsp
Mustard seeds – 1 tbsp
Chana dal – 1 tbsp
Coriander leaves – ¼ cup
Water – ½ cup
Salt to taste
Method
- Boil Potatoes in a Pressure Cooker or Microwave until it is soft.
- Drain and Peel Potatoes. Mash it Completely. Keep it aside.
- Heat oil in a pan on medium flame. Add mustard seeds wait until it crackle then add chana dal fry until it turns light brown.
- Add curry leaves, green chilli saute about 4 seconds.
- Add onion, turmeric powder fry until it turns light brown.
- Add mashed potatoes, coriander powder, salt and water. Mix well. Cook about 1 minute.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
Hot Bombay sagu is ready to serve with Rava idli.
