Ingredients
Beetroot – 2 Finely chopped
Onion – 1
Green chilli – 3
Curry leaves – 10
Mustard seeds – ½ tbsp
Chana dal – 1 tbsp
Oil – 3 Tbsp
Coriander leaves – ¼ cup
Salt to Taste
Method
- Heat oil in a pressure cooker. Add mustard seeds wait until it Crackle then add Chana dal. Fry until it turns light brown.
- Add Curry Leaves and Green Chilli. Saute for a second.
- Add Chopped Onion Cook until it turns light brown. Add chopped beetroot, coriander leaves and salt. Cook for 2 whistles.
- Once cooked takeout to a serving plate.
Beetroot Palya is Ready to Serve with Chapati.
