Ingredients
Soya chunks – 1 cup
Onion – 1 Finely chopped
Green chilli – 3 Finely chopped
Coriander leaves – ½ cup
Ginger garlic paste – ¼ tbsp.
Jeera powder – 1 tbsp
Red chilli powder – 1 tbsp
Chat masala – 1 tbsp
Breadcrumbs – ½ cup
Gram flour (Besan) – ½ cup
Oil – ½ cup
Salt to taste
Method
- Boil water and add soya chunks. Switch off the flame and close the lid. Let it rests for 10 minutes. Soya chunks will be doubled the size.
- Drain soya chunks completely. Blend it to coarse crumbs.
- Dry fry gram flour for about 1 minute. Keep it aside.
- Add onion, green chilli, gingergarlic paste, coriander leaves, gram flour, bread crumbs, soya chunks crumbs, jeera powder, red chilli powder, chat masala powder, bread crumbs and salt to a bowl. Mix well. It will become a nice dough.
- Take small portion of the dough and make round patties. Keep it aside.
- Heat oil for shallow frying. Place patties on it. Flip and fry both the sides until it turns light brown. Takeout on to a kitchen paper towel.
Serve Soya chunks cutlet with Tomato Ketchup.
