Preparation time: 10 Minutes | Cook time: 15 Minutes
Ingredients
Tomato – 2 Finely chopped
Onion – 1 Finely chopped
Coriander powder – 1tbsp
Red chilli powder – 1 tbsp
Oil – 2 tbsp
Mustard seeds – ½ tbsp
Chana dal – 1 tbsp
Water – ½ cup
Coriander leaves – ½ cup
Method
- Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds wait until it crackle then add chana dal let it turn light brown.
- Add curry leaves, onion fry until it turns light brown.
- Add tomato, red chilli powder, coriander powder, water and salt. Cook until tomatoes become soft. Garnish with coriander leaves.
Tomato Palya is ready to serve with Chapati.
