Peas vangibath


Preparation time: 15 Minutes | Cook time: 15 Minutes


Onion – 1

Frozen peas – ½ cup

Tomato – 1

Vangibath powder – 1 tbsp

Red chilli powder – ½ tbsp

Curry leaves – 6

Coriander leaves – ¼ cup

Oil – 4 tbsp

Mustard seeds – ½ tbsp

Chana dal – 1 tbsp

Rice – 1 cup

Salt to taste


  • Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds wait until it crackle then add chana dal. Fry until it turns light brown.
  • Add curry leaves, chopped onion fry until it turns transparent.
  • Add chopped tomatoes and cook until it becomes soft. Add peas and cook about 1 minute.
  • Add vangibath powder and red chilli powder. Mix well. Cook about 1 minute.
  • Add coriander leaves and salt to taste then add rice. Mix well. Takeout on to a serving plate.

Tasty Peas vangibath is ready to serve.
