Preparation time: 10 minutes | Cook time: 15 Minutes
Ingredients
Plain cornflakes – 5 cups
Peanuts – 1 cup
Bengal gram – ½ cup
Garlic – 3
Oil – 2 Tbsp
Mustard seeds – ½ tbsp
Curry leaves – 8
Turmeric powder – ½ tbsp
Red chilli powder – ¼ tbsp.
Pepper powder – ¼ tbsp.
Salt to taste
Method
- Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds and wait until it crackle.
- Add garlic and curry leaves saute for a minute.
- Add peanuts, Bengal gram and fry it in low flame for about 3 minutes(until it turns light brown).
- Add turmeric powder, pepper powder, red chilli powder and salt. Mix well for a minute.
- Now add cornflakes and mix well. Takeout pan from the flame. Let it cool down completely.
- Cornflakes mixture is ready. store it in an airtight container.
