For Badhusha preparation

Oil for deep frying

  • To a bowl add maida, baking powder, sugar, ghee and curd. Mix well. By adding enough milk make soft dough. Keep it aside. Let it rests for about 20 Minutes.
  • To a pan add sugar, water and boil it until you get one string consistency. Takeout from the flame and add lemon juice. ( to maintain the consistency of sugar syrup we add lemon juice)

Badhusha preparation

  • Make small balls out of dough and give shape of your choice. I did it like simple doughnut shape by pressing dough.
  • Heat oil in a pan on low flame. Once oil is hot enough fry badhusha until it turns golden brown from all the sides.( This will take long time as we should fry badhusha in low flame)
  • Then add each badhusha to prepared sugar syrup and let it rests in it for about 10 minutes.
  • Takeout on to a plate and let it dry for sometime.
  • Transfer to a serving plate and garnish with nuts.

Tasty Badhusha is ready to serve 🙂
